Wihlborgs and Ångpanneföreningen (technical consultants) have signed a lease agreement which means that Wihlborgs will construct a new office building at Dockan. The lease agreement will run for 10 years and comprises approximately 4,000 m2 with possession taking place during the autumn of 2009.
The address of the ÅF building will be Stora Varvsgatan/Hallenborgs gata and will fill the gap between Teliahuset and Kockum’s office. It is expected that construction will commence in March.

Jones Lang LaSalle has been ÅF’s adviser in this matter.
The property will house a total office space of 7,000 m2 and 1,700 m2 of shops. When fully leased, the building will generate a lease income in excess of SEK 17 million.

Dockan is part of Västra Hamnen and is centrally located in Malmö with the sea as its nearest neighbour. This is where a new city district is evolving with both housing and offices – a district with hustle and bustle 24 hours a day.
When this building project is complete, Wihlborgs will have a property stock of 111,000 m2 at Dockan.
