Wihlborgs have signed a five-year lease agreement with Dresser Wayne AB covering a total of 14,350 m2 in the property known as Stenshuvud 3 in Malmö. The property is located on Hanögatan in Norra Hamnen. Possession will take place on 1 August 2010.
At the same time, Wihlborgs will acquire Dresser Wayne’s property Gjuteriet 18 on Limhamnsvägen i Malmö. The assignment will take place in company format since the property is valued at SEK 43 million. The intention is to demolish the buildings and implement a planning change for housing.
“The extent of leasing is significant and we are pleased that we will have Dresser Wayne as a tenant in our premises” says Anders Jarl, CEO of Wihlborgs Fastigheter AB.
Dresser Wayne is one of the world’s largest manufacturer’s of petrol pumps and the company develops, markets and provides servicing for petrol pumps and electronic payment systems.
“Through the acquisition of their property on Limnhamnsvägen we will also create the criteria for future housing in Limnhamn while, at the same time, Dresser Wayne will move to a suitable premise in an area which has long-term plans for industrial activities,” concluded Anders Jarl.
