Wihlborgs has signed a contract for the sale of the property Segeholm 12, Lundavägen in Malmö. The property is empty since last year when the former tenant prematurely left the premises due to an agreement. The property comprises 8,000 sq.m. and is specially built and designed for laboratory activity.

After long negotiations with the new intended tenant an agreement has been made to sell the property instead. The selling price is SEK 65m, the transaction will be made through company transaction and the buyer is Thalamus AB. Possession will take place as of 30 June 2008.

– Since the property Segeholm 12 is not suited for office premises we have decided to sell it. It’s also a better solution for the tenant to buy the property since they want to make many investments, says Anders Jarl CEO of Wihlborgs Fastigheter AB.

The selling price will exceed the accumulated acquisition value by SEK 18m.
