Skatteverket and its neighbours
During the autumn and winter of 2008-2009, we rebuilt what used to be the police building in central Helsingborg and which became office and school premises covering a total area of approximately 10,000 square metres.
The new tenants are Inter IKEA systems, Skatteverket (the Swedish Tax Agency) and friskolan Cultura.
The rebuilding comprises a complete renovation. All that remains of the old building is the concrete shell. This means that the building’s entire infrastructure – electrics, telephones, data and building services are new and completely modern. The facade has supplementary insulation and is clad with facade clinker. All internal roof drainage has been made external and the building has been given a light colour finish instead of what was previously dark.
