Our properties – always in attractive locations
Wihlborgs’ property stock is comprised entirely of commercial properties in the Öresund region or, to be more specific, it is located in selected parts of the market in Malmö, Helsingborg, Lund and Copenhagen. By “selected parts of the market” we mean attractive parts of the city but also areas whose development we will contribute to and whom we are convinced will become attractive centres for companies in the future. An example of such an area where we are proud of our contribution is Dockan in Malmö. That which was previously a reasonably static industrial area now houses companies such as Mercedes-Benz, Telia and Sveriges Television to name but a few, in a thriving and modern environment where modern companies are neighbours with modern living.
The greatest proportion, 70 per cent of the book value, comprises office and shop premises, followed by industrial and warehousing properties that represent 26 per cent. In total, Wihlborgs owns a total of 246 properties of which 15 are freehold. The total area that can be leased is about 1,295,000 square metres. Almost 95 per cent of this is leased.
