Malmö lies right in the middle of the Öresund region and, together with Copenhagen, constitutes its natural centre. With its 3.6 million inhabitants, its central position in Europe, its pulling power on international companies as well as its collection of universities and colleges, this new major city region is one of the most expansive in our part of the world and offers everything that companies and people need for being able to grow and thrive.
Malmö is Wihlborgs’ largest area in terms of value and has properties worth SEK 9,5 billion more than half of our total property assets. Our Malmö stock also includes properties that lie in our local communities of Lomma and Burlöv.
The number of Wihlborgs properties in Malmö currently amounts to 115. A total of 609,000 square metres is leasable. The lease value is SEK 790 million and the contracted annual lease income amounts to SEK 738 million.
